Kindle edition is uncorrected OCR

This comment only refers to the Kindle edition. "Look Inside" shows many errors in the Kindle edition, as typical for an OCR (optical character recognition) process. Some are tolerable, like translating an "I" into a "1", and the text remains understandable. But other errors are undecipherable and sense-destroying. So, be careful with this Kindle edition.

It was an illegible **photocopy**. It appeared as if someone took a picture of every page of an original "Principles of Science", then faxed those pictures to the printer in order to produce this book.
I returned it immediately.
