Excellent!

I have to say, I wasn't expecting to learn much. I thought it would be a repeat of info in her other books and what is online. However, it was so much better than that. Have I seen the exercises before? Sure, I even do most of them on a regular basis. But it was the in-depth info that I found so great. Not just "do this." But *why*. I was the kid that always asked "why" and wanted all the details. Now I know. BTW, I've already transitioned to barefoot shoes, and I still learned lots from this book.

Better balance!

I have had a stroke which caused me to have difficulty with balancing while walking. After attending a "yoga for feet" workshop and purchasing this book, I began to increase the mobility of the joints in my feet by using their suggestions. My balance is better. And my confidence while walking is much improved.

Extremely useful

This book is fantastic - simple, clear, concise. I love how in the end she provides a list of the exercises so that you don't have to go back through the book to find them. I have a foot injury and I found the exercises to be very helpful. I also appreciate the perspective she provides on how to perceive our feet and the natural abilities they have had since birth. After years of going to podiatrists an doctors who told me that the way my feet were was 'wrong", and that they needed to be fixed by chunky shoes and stiff orthotics, I began to feel discouraged and gradually lost the confidence in my own body's abilities. But Katy has really helped me restore my own physical strength. My body was meant to function optimally and this book helps me do so.
