Constructive guide

Confidence isn’t my best asset. So you would expect, from a reserved girl like myself, it would even be more difficult to impress a very strict hiring manager. When I graduated with a degree in business management, I promised myself that I would apply for a top-notch company I could grow in. I had a lot of options but this one company is my dream. To turn the long story short, I sent in an application, and I have an interview next week. Thank goodness!
I decided I would need a few pointers to be more than prepared. So I scouted around Amazon where I usually purchase my e-books and found this one. It is a very comprehensive book. This is the first I’ve read on the subject of job interviews and believe all that I’ll ever need to read. I admire how the author provided structured steps until you get to the focal point. First, you’ll discover how to make a winning resum� (very informative, very useful), then you’ll be educated on the top careers today (consider this), and chapter one ends with how to be your best personality to make it that you’re the only one fit for the job. I especially like this part because it painted me a picture, and reminded me of the qualities I need to possess to win the interviewer over. A team player, flexible, optimistic, are some of the traits I realized I needed to work on so I could make it great. In the book you will find much more, and the author will teach you how to go about improving every one of those winning work characteristics. I learned the importance of body language as well, and that this could be a deal-breaker. I’ve been practicing in front of the mirror. I’m betting I’ll do well.
The second chapter of the book prepares you for the interview in terms of putting yourself out there for companies to find, followed by self-reflection questions before the event, and lastly, knowing how to dress yourself like a professional. To tell you the truth, I got this job interview because I made a LinkedIn profile! In all honesty! It really did work. So I recommend you to do that as soon as you have the time. The author highlighted some reminders before you go to the actual interview. I advise that you read through them and read through them again because I’m sure it would really really help. Then there’s the portion on how to dress to impress. This part – one of the most life-saving! I bought a brand new set of clothes just for this. I’m definitely wearing the part.
When you get to the portion on nail-biting questions, I tell you, you’ll learn and even laugh. There are a lot of questions in there that you didn’t realize hiring managers are trying to squeeze out of you, subtle questions that you think you’d choke on, but not anymore. I won’t go into too much detail, because I think that you should go buy the book yourself. It’s worth the couple of dollars.
The questions and answers I would agree are spot on and will certainly prepare you for what will go on in that room. I feel I’m ready. You deserve to be too.

I got the job thanks to this!

I just had a job interview almost a week ago. Guess what. You can guess right I got the job offer! Woohoo! And I have nothing but this book to thank for. It helped heaps. A friend recommended me to read it and told me everything I needed to know would be found there. I read it three times until I got the whole gist. I’m normally not the anxious guy, but this was a job I was aiming for since before I got my degree, and I nailed it!
The author does not disappoint when he says he will “enlighten”. I tried asking a bunch of people who have jobs and didn’t really get any clear answers, but this book did it for me. I am beyond grateful. The interviewer asked all the questions (except one, but I improvised and it was a cake) that were in this book. I was able to come fully prepared. First I did some research on the company like the author said and I wasn’t too personal in my answers. I placed my goals for the position and the company’s ambitions first. That’s how it worked out well I think. The book also gives a run-through on how to dress well. That, I followed down to every single detail and it seemed, the hiring manager (she) was convinced and even complimented me for my look. What the author also doesn’t forget are tips to self-assessing yourself. These come very handy, as handy as the answers to the questions themselves.
So, I’m starting in two weeks and I’ve never felt so accomplished. Thank you! And buy this book, trust me, it’s FOR THE BEST.

Educational. I’m all set for that interview now!

I’ve been surfing for a few jobs some time now. I let go from my last one. There was a mass layoff and I’ve been scared to push through with applications ever since. While I was looking around online for offers in my line of work, I came across this book on Amazon. I felt that I needed it, and it was only a couple dollars.
Well, I am mighty glad I bought this. My last job was my first job and I didn’t want the interviewer to think that I wasn’t good enough because they kicked some people out. But I learned that you just have to be honest with everything and say your real motives, that you are still willing try despite whatever. That’s what I learned.
I also loved reading the part about how to dress for the interview. Now I know what’s right for the occasion. Haha! Before, I didn’t care what the heck I wore as long as I was comfortable. I didn’t know how much of an impact it could bring to the interview. I like how the author states his advice. Well-explained, as if he’s gone through all interviews with no scratch marks! There’s a part in the book that gives you information about some of the jobs out there today. I think this was helpful because it also gave me a chance to consider other things. Maybe in the future. In total, I would really recommend this book to any job interviewee out there. It has all the questions you could possibly dread about. You’ll come suuperr prepared.
So I have an upcoming interview a week today, and I’m hoping for the best. Without doubt, I’ve gained more confidence.
